Enter Singlebrook's Sustainable iPhone App Program and win a FREE custom iPhone application for your non-profit, B Corporation, L3C or mission-driven organization! Do you have a custom iPhone app idea that would make a positive social or environmental impact? We're donating the development time for the winning project. Enter the program by submitting your proposal by email before the August 15, 2010 deadline.

  • Description of your iPhone app idea. Please be as detailed as possible and feel free to attach additional specification documents.

Program Rules:

  • Entry forms must be submitted by August 15, 2010.
  • The winner will be announced on October 1, 2010.
  • Development of the iPhone app will begin in the fall of 2010, subject to Singlebrook's schedule and the size and scope of the application.
  • The app idea must have a social or environmental impact component.
  • The app idea must be submitted by a non-profit, B Corporation, L3C or mission-driven organization located in the US.
  • All content for the app (including images, text, formulas, quiz questions, etc.) must be supplied by the winning applicant. Singlebrook is only responsible for programming services.
  • The scope of the app must be simple and the design requirements must be very bare bones. The goal is to create a small, functional app that makes a positive impact in the world or helps an organization better achieve its mission.
  • Development time on the app is limited to 50 hours, so app's that are too ambitious in scope will not be considered for the contest. To get an idea of the size of app we will consider, check out the following reference app's: App 1, App 2, App 3.
  • The app will be owned by the organization submitting the idea, but Singlebrook retains ownership of its code and has the right to re-use portions of the code in other applications for clients or for Singlebrook's own use.
  • Singlebrook retains the right to have a small link to our site in the application credits.
